FLOODWATERS is a fictional account of true events that happened in the days and years after the storm. To this day, the effects of these shootings are still felt by those who lived it and without their suffering and pain, this project would not be possible.

This project was also born out of frustration with the way New Orleans and its' people have been portrayed in numerous films and television series. It is critical for any producing partner or attached talent to understand the responsibility of dramatizing the characters and events in this film with integrity and faithfulness.
